Family, Mapuche leaders and support networks once again marched through the streets of the city of Concepción in support of four community members who are 55 days on hunger strike, and the 5 that began a
dry strike  in Temuco on the 19th day without eating.

The march was violently repressed by police special forces, as has been the trend of recent days, highlighting the concern of the Chilean authorities to the growing support for the hunger strike.

About 10 people were arrested and assaulted by the police, including Juana Montoya and Gabriela Montoya, mother and sister of Erick Montoya, the striker who remains interned in the Regional Hospital of Concepción, following the transfer of the others.

Another two minors were arrested, like a high school student leader and several members of the Network of Support to Communities in Fight. All were taken to verify injuries to the clinic of Costanera and then taken to the First and Fourth Precinct of Police.
